Terry’s Take… Faith and Belief

Not everyone appreciates poetry, but I came across this that was sent to me. I think it says succinctly what we believe as followers of Christ.

Faith is knowing the light will come on
When it’s pitch black and the switch is thrown

Faith is believing the sun will set after eve has gone
And spectacularly rise at tomorrow’s dawn

Faith is believing the water runs smoothly
Once the spigots have been opened properly

Faith is knowing that our Lord hears you pray
Every morning of every day

Believe in Him Who created all
Have faith that he makes rainfall

Believing is seeing a new baby delivered
The parents had faith and yes they believed

Having no faith is believing in yourself over God
That will end guaranteed extremely bad

For faith is believing so if you don’t
You’ll not make to Heaven you just won’t
